What is the World of Webrings you ask?

It is a focus community of dedicated and caring individuals who have a passionate commitment to share their many years of webring knowledge and experience with Ring Managers, Ring Members and the general public alike.

To go hand in hand with the World of Webrings community site is World Of Webrings [WOW] discussion community. It is a source of discussion and assistance to anyone who requires it. But it has become so much more then that.

We joined WOW discussion community, at the invitation of James S. Huggins. Of course our initial thought was, "oh another list just like the other list".

Wrong !!!

What we found was a community of people who clearly have a passion to share their knowledge, help with problems and assist in educating the wider public about webrings.

We found a warm and welcoming community of people who constantly demonstrated selfless acts of understanding and patience.

We found healthy discussions about different webring systems. Hey we didn't even know there were that many. Did you know that you can host your own webring system? Yep, Ringlink.

So from this list an idea was conceived and November 2002 marked the birth of the World of Webringscommunity web site.
