Alt Key Symbols

Ever wonder how you get that small C in a circle to indicate something is Copyright or the small R in a circle to show something is Registered. Perhaps you want to know how to get the tiny TM next to something to indicate it is Trade Mark. What about those funny symbols, like the upside down question mark?

You get all these and much more by using the Alt Key on your computer. We recently discovered these and would like to share them with you.

Further down on this page you will find a list showing you the numbers which will give you the symbol as indicated.

• How do you get the symbol you want?

• Hold the Alt Key down

• Type the number next to the symbol you want, using the Calculator part of your keyboard

• Release the Alt Key

• And there you have it, your symbol.
